Diploma in Pharmacy
Diploma in Pharmacy (Diploma course):
Two-year full-time Diploma programme in Pharmacy recognised by Government of Maharashtra and Pharmacy Council of India.
Programme Objective:
A programme specifically designed to create professionals who will make a mark in the pharmaceutical industry. On completion of the programme the students can get registration as pharmacist and can run their own medical shops.
Eligibility:
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy :
• Passing any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics (PCB / PCM) and English
• Intermediate examination in Science
• 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science, with PCB or PCM
• Pre-degree examination
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination
Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidate in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory administration as the case may be from time to time.
Eligibility Certificate (OMS*):
Candidates, who have not passed their 10+2 examination from the HSC Board of Maharashtra, need to produce the certificate and the Mark sheet of the examination given by them, which is equivalent to the HSC board of Maharashtra state. The required eligibility certificate will have to be obtained from the prescribed authority.
Programme Duration:
The duration of the course is of 2 years with each academic year spread over not less than 180 working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.
