School is a temple that gives knowledge, discipline, morals and teaches the students the way to make their future bright.

It is with immense pleasure and a deep sense of gratitude that I address you all through this message from the Principal's Desk. As we stand on the threshold of Golden Jubilee Year, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable journey of Weidner Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Rajnandgaon, which has been serving the community for nearly 50 years now. This institution is trying to mould the future of the country and making it great. It is continuously working to enable the students to get their goals.

Founded in 1975, our school has grown steadily over the years, both in terms of infrastructure and the number of students it nurtures. Today, we proudly stand as a beacon of quality education in Rajnandgaon, with student strength of 1500 and a dedicated team of around 85 staff members. Our growth and success are the outcomes of the collective efforts of our students, teachers, parents, and the unwavering support of our well-wishers.

Keeping in mind that to teach is to touch a life forever, we believe in holistic education that encompasses academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life-skills learning. The campus, sports and academic facilities all bear testimony to this belief. As we venture ahead and spread our wings in this spectacular valley of value-based education, our endeavour is to strike a balance between state-of-the-art- infrastructure and a robust curriculum that opens the door to global platforms for our peace loving and problem-solving students. Activities and events related to value education, environment, health education, games and sports, visual and performing arts, culture heritage and personality development are effectively woven into the main fabric of school curriculum.

We aim at making our students capable enough to be self-directed and self-managed individuals who can confront the challenges of life without wavering. Our children are not only taught to fly high in the open sky of tremendous opportunities but also to stay attached to their roots. Our school has now earned a brand name for itself, which is known far and wide for its quality education and grooming of young minds.

Our school imparts value and skill based education bringing out the best in every child. We focus primarily on preparing our students to be worthy citizens, refined in heart and mind and skilled enough to achieve paramount goals. Our earnest effort is to provide a conducive learning environment to each and every student so that when they go out of the portals, they brim with confidence and emerge as the leaders of tomorrow.

Today the role of a teacher is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of our ever changing global society.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated and passionate teaching and non-teaching staff who work tirelessly to provide the best educational experience for our students.

To our students, you are the heart of our institution. I encourage each one of you to embrace the opportunities that this academic year brings. Work hard, be curious, and always remember that your potential is limitless.
